They picked me up from the airport exactly as arranged. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I mentioned I was being picked up for a spa appointment and would not have time to get dinner. I asked if they could arrange dinner to be ready for me in my room when I arrived. This happened exactly as arranged and the dinner, a pad thai, which they selected on my behalf was delicious. The staff were always keen to help. As a lone female traveller, it felt like a safe place to stay.

Amazing space to come and relax after a long day sightseeing. The decor is well done and the rooms all face the pool. It never feels like it’s super busy here even when the property is full. The staff are delightful, especially the security guard who would always go out of his way to say hello and interact with my kids. The free mini bar and bracelet/soap making are excellent additions to the stay. My children also received free gifts every morning at breakfast.

Beautiful!! Amazing how thay have managed to create a small paradise in the center of a town like Chiang Mai, the design and the landscape made me feel like I’m on an island, all of it just a turn away from the main road. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful beyong my expectations. very nice breakfast Offered free shuttle from and to the airport, and when the car had an accident, they immediately sent another shuttle to pick us up, although we were 200 meters from the terminal. This hotel deserves more than 10 in the overall score, I will definately return.

Location good, near to Old Town and Night Market. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Nice Swimming Pool which was very refreshing! Room was spacious and very clean and had balcony overlooking the Pool as we requested. Hotel also provided free taxi to Airport on the day we left which was a nice touch.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect—close to major attractions yet peaceful enough to relax. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience special, always welcoming with a smile and eager to assist. My birthday surprise for breakfast and room decorations were heartwarming! Thank you! The swimming pool was stunning—clean, spacious, and perfect for a refreshing dip. It truly felt like a private oasis. And the breakfast? Simply outstanding! A wide variety of fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay.

Hotel Smile Lanna is a true oasis of tranquility. It’s not your typical five-star chain hotel, but instead, it offers a lot of intimacy, unique decor, and an exceptionally dedicated staff. The level of customer service here is outstanding—the team is always smiling, attentive, and genuinely engaged in making your stay special. One thing that might take a little getting used to is the pool water, which is salty and mineralized. Children, in particular, may need some time to adapt, and even for adults, the first dip can be a bit surprising. However, the pool itself is wonderful—no crowds, plenty of free sun loungers, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms, all featuring balconies, are well-designed and cleaned daily. A complimentary airport transfer is a great added convenience. Breakfast is generous and diverse, combining classic options with local flavors—there’s something for everyone. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to the Old Town and just steps away from a beautiful park entrance. We are truly grateful for a wonderful stay and would like to send our best regards to the entire hotel staff. We hope to return someday!

Staff at Smile Lanna you are all so kind and welcoming, from arrival to departure, and every moment in between from breakfast to happy hour (with free drinks and snacks), and the lovely (heated) pool. It is such a gem in a green environment and with very child friendly also with many spots also in the shadow. And the security guard - very friendly, helpful and also great with kids. The rooms are very nice, large beds!!! Happy to have met you all and we definitely highly recommend.

Felt like a luxury hotel, staff were fantastic with our baby, and a few added complimentary extras just made it really special, such as bracelet making and soap making in the mornings and snacks from 1-3 every day. A really special hotel, 100% recommend!

As expected all staff were so helpful, kind and polite. Made to feel very welcome. We extended our stay so had to move rooms but this couldn’t have been dealt with more efficiently with immediate access to our new room. Complimentary snacks and mini bar soft drinks in all rooms. Lovely selection on offer for breakfast - including vegan options (but I’m quite low maintenance). The best smashed avocado I’ve ever had! The security guy, Doi is adorable and so helpful. Thank you. I’d also like to comment that during our stay extensive works were being done on landscaping the main entrance area. It seems to have been transformed during our stay without us noticing any noise, dust or inconvenience. So well done to those guys too 🤩

The location of the hotel is right at the entry of the Old City of Chiang Mai. Their family room was spacious and amazing. Extremely clean and the entire staff of the hotel from the front reception, security, room service and dining staff were gracious and always ready to help. The hotel offers free pick-up and drop-off to/from airport during specific hours. The breakfast has got excellent variety of food, incl the yummy mango with sticky rice. The hotel also has a shuttle taxi that can take you the night market in the evening. They have wristband making sessions at 10am in the morning, right next to the pool and is a good way to stay engaged during your stay. A perfect place to relax in the midst if greenery in Chiang Mai
